How often do people compliment you and you
make some excuse or fail to accept the praise graciously? This is an indicator
that you find it hard to allow positive things into your life.
Allowing good to enter your life is an
extremely hard thing for most people. It sometimes seems like cheating if we
don’t feel we have worked hard and chased after something. The trouble is
amongst our focus on getting a specific result; we may overlook other things
happening around us which could actually help us.
When things are stressful, taking action
for the sake of feeling active is probably counter productive – so take a step
back, try to relax and refocus on what you want as an outcome, do not focus on
all of the steps that you believe you need to undertake to make it happen.
