What Is Self Talk And Important To Live In The Now

What Is Self Talk

Why it’s important to live in the Now!
Why it’s important to live in the Now!
As a result of a conversation I had two days ago here is an important thought I want to share with you.
We are undeniably living in a period of economic uncertainty and many people are worried about their income, either being squeezed or disappearing completely.

When we are in such a fearful state our ego will usually kick in and help us imagine all kinds of disastrous outcomes, which in turn creates more fear, worry and depression. We then get hooked as our conscious mind constantly wanders into the “Doomsday Scenarios” it is inventing. The truth is this scenario has not happened; it may not happen at all. The point is it is not happening “NOW”. The more power you give to the negative, the more power it assumes and you are likely to find things happen that are exactly what you Do not want! I often call this kind of self-dialogue “monkey mind chatter”.

Fear which is usually the end resulting emotion of this process is often called False Evidence Appearing Real. On an emotional scale Love and gratitude are at the opposite end to fear.
You need to take control every time you catch yourself slipping into the this negative mindset/ process and replace those thoughts quickly with something you can grateful. for or that creates a feeling of love - In other words find some positive self talk. Many sceptics will call this new age thinking, but it works.

“Focus on the prize, not the problem”

The importance of correct goal setting and being passionate about what you want is vitally important. By focusing on the want or desire, you will carry yourself through times when things don’t seem to be going too well. If your goal is half-hearted, you may give up as soon as you hit your first obstacle. The determination to overcome obstacles and find solutions will be fueled by the strength of your desire.
Take time with any goal to keep asking why you want it so that you can arrive at the real core of why it is important to you. Then keep your focus on the goal, remembering the importance and this will give you the drive to sustain your efforts in achieving it.
Allow the realization and achievement of your goals to pull you though the challenges

How To Get Money Fast You don’t earn success You allow it.

Learn How To Get Money Fast

How To Get Money Fast
“You don’t earn success. You allow it.”

How often do people compliment you and you make some excuse or fail to accept the praise graciously? This is an indicator that you find it hard to allow positive things into your life.
Allowing good to enter your life is an extremely hard thing for most people. It sometimes seems like cheating if we don’t feel we have worked hard and chased after something. The trouble is amongst our focus on getting a specific result; we may overlook other things happening around us which could actually help us.
When things are stressful, taking action for the sake of feeling active is probably counter productive – so take a step back, try to relax and refocus on what you want as an outcome, do not focus on all of the steps that you believe you need to undertake to make it happen.
Allow success to unfold around you and have a great day.

How Is 2012 Shaping Up

How is 2012 shaping up?
Going beyond the New Year’s resolutions:

What are some of the things you can do to bring your intentions to life?
1) Spend some time visioning your success. Fast-forward to when you have succeeded in your resolution to quit smoking. Breath in the air (it helps if you're at the seashore to do this exercise) and say the words I am thankful I'm now smokefree!
2) ACT AS IF: do you dream of owning a yacht? Well, get as close as possible to that dream NOW. Go down to a Marina and walkl around the yachts. Pick up some yacht magazines and read them. Go online and follow the path of a yacht around the world.
3) IMMERSE YOURSELF -- yes, immerse yourself into your resolution. Want to travel to India? Then make some Indian curry. Buy some Indian CDs, Watch Bollywood DVDs. Literally experience some of the flavors, smells and colors of your dream.
4) USE POSITIVE SELF TALK: cut out the negatives rather than you're not going to eat candy for lunch or not going to skip breakfast say I eat healthy snacks, I enjoy my oatmeal for breakfast. Be as specific as possible with your own self-talk and also what you say to others.
4) CREATE A VISION BOARD FOR JUST ONE OF YOUR RESOLUTIONS: Focus closely on that one goal. Say it's to lose weight. Rather than keep telling yourself you are losing weight use an affirmation that encourages you like "I am eating healthy foods", I am full of energy, And put those affirmations on your vision board in your own hand-writing!
5) BE INSPIRED BY NEW QUOTES FROM ROLE MODELS: Maya Angelou, the famous poet and a friend of Oprah's says, "Tell life" I am with you kid" and take it by the lapels and just GO!

Career Help

We all need career help now and again

I read an interesting article today about how much student loans (in the USA) were costing currently. It’s amazing that the average student loan debt burden now stands at $45,000 at graduation!

So with the extremely high unemployment rates for graduates and those in their twenties the prospect of paying off these loans with high paid jobs is rather low!

So what would be the alternatives to becoming a student? What about:

·         In the initial phase, go to work to learn a trade or indeed to get some skills? Earning money whilst learning.

·         Taking courses on non-traditional education (say)  courses on investing hosted by professionals (those that have done it) rather than professors? Or skills like computer programming and web design – all costing so much less. Rather than spending 4 years wondering what you want to do, getting into debt and taking lessons you will probably never use, figure out what you want to do and take specific classes that will help you in the future at a fraction of the cost.

·         If you have to spend $45,000 to get a degree just to work in a supermarket, why not skip the debt, get a job at Tescos or Wal Mart, save some money and begin investing! Find a class in finances, learn all you can and become an entrepreneur now without debt!

·         Why not start a business? Some of the most successful business entrepreneurs never went to college, or dropped out. They decided that rather putting their talent and energy in other people’s pockets, they could use them for their own goals. If you have a good idea why now go with it now?

·         Find out what your real passion is and pursue it. At Transformance we have skilled coaches who can help you do that.

All of these would involve effort  – are you the sort of person prepared to do it? Effort directed into something that you really want to do will seem much easier than effort of “going through the motions.”
